Crabapple Lane Elementary School is a winner of the 2007 Single Statewide Accountability System award.

The SSAS competition for a silver award in the highest performance category is impressive. Schools must meet 3 criteria to be determined winners:

a) Make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for 2 consecutive years;

b) Demonstrate that at lest 25% of students exceed standards in all test areas as measured by the state assessments; and

c) Demonstrate that at least 96% of students meet or exceed standards as measured by state assessments.

Crabapple Lane Elementary School is one of only 34 elementary schools in the state of Georgia to receive this award for the 2006-2007 school year.
